Low back and upper trap trigger point work.

 Q-L and upper trap work.
Low back pain is a source of chronic pain for many clients. It can be caused by any number of sources: muscle spasm, injury to soft tissues and/or ligaments, irritated facette joints, herniated/bulging discs, slippage of the vertibrae, ... I find clients benefit from a expert diagnosis (this can mean consulting an orthopedic physician first) to find out if the pain is of a serious nature. I find massage treatments can reduce the pain caused by muscle spasm and mild injury, and help restore greater ranges of movement.

 Low back and gluteal stretch.

Erector thorasis and lat's stretch.

My treatment of 'low back pain' includes:

an assessment  - to understand if a referral is necessary - to understand if the pain is muscle and/or joint related.

massage techniques - deep tissue work to release old scar tissue - trigger point work to release muscle spasm - joint mobilizations to free up spinal and sacral movement.
